We're nearly ready for you to see our production!
Our thespians are ready to hit the stage, having completed their final rehearsal before tech week begins on Monday.
The Stage is set.
Our little bookstore set is fully stocked with books and bursting at the seams with laughter, goodwill, and a rollicking good time.
The costumes are perfected.
| It doesn't pay to mess with the law - or with our slightly disheveled, but thoroughly lovable cop, Officer Ketchum (played by Brooke Berger). |
| No storybook tale is complete without a prince! Ours is played by Alecia Hoerr. |
The stage blocking is complete.
| Princess, Isabel Hoerr, listens intently, hoping to hear the prince coming to her rescue. |
| Bookstore owner, Margie (played by Alma Maurer) and her madcap sister, Matilda (portrayed by Summer Schopp) are simultaneously confused and amazed at surprising plot twists and an unexpected turn of events. |
A whole host of beloved book characters will come to life.
The storybook characters are willing to - waiting to - wanting to.... leap into action to save their beloved bookstore owner.
| Doctor Doolittle (played by Philip Ware) is flanked in this photo by Tom Sawyer (portrayed by Cliff Leman) and Pollyanna (A.K.A - Faith Reinhard) |
| Avast me hearties! Long John Silver (played by Joshua Gay) reminds you that the play won't be complete without you in the audience next week. |
| It's elementary! My dear fellow, you don't want to miss Daniel Ware as Sherlock Holmes. You'll see that his skills of deduction are a force to be reckoned with. |
| Leader of the merry band in Lincoln green, Robin Hood, has left Sherwood Forest for just a few hours to help bring justice (and prosperity) to the little bookstore. |
| Winnie the Pooh is searching for something even more valuable than his pot of honey in our enchanted bookshop tale. |
The cast is practicing taking their bows.
All they need is YOU!
| Their "hats" are off to you! |
Their "hats" are off to you, the audience, and they can hardly wait to see you enter the theater next Thursday and Friday.
